These courses are open to anyone who wants to learn about crystals and the crystal journeying process. Journeying techniques are explored, as are the Shamanic use of various large crystals. The daytime classes are a single class running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the evening classes are divided into two or three-hour segments and run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. or 7 to 9 p.m. and are usually hosted at The Reiki Center of Greater Washington, 4631 Glasgow Drive, in Rockville, Maryland, unless specified below. Prior registration is required. All workshops include two crystals to take home with your registration. We will do several journeys each day, assisted by the sound of the drum or rattle and the creation of a large crystal medicine wheel.

In the above course, facilitator David Gleekel uses the sounds of the Drum, Rattle, and Tibetan Bowl and the energy of a large crystal vortex to assist you in going into the meditative state known as the Shamanic Journey.
In the journey, the student learns the structure of a series of "worlds" that are a framework to bring context to your meditation. These include the Upper World for spiritual guidance and connecting with departed souls, the Lower World for connecting with the Earth and its animals, crystals, and herbs, and the Middle World for launching our journeys and doing soul retrieval.
Each workshop session will be a mix of explanation of the concepts of the journey meditation, followed by experiencing the journey, journaling, and sharing the experience with others in the workshop. Register>>

In this two-day workshop, facilitator David Gleekel takes all of the work developed in the earlier classes taught in CH 101 through CH 302 and brings them together to create a ceremonial workshop for individual, group and Earth healing.
